In partnering with Beauty 360 and the CVS Beauty Club, I've received product samples and/or compensation for my time and effort in creating this postal service. All thoughts and opinions are my own. #sponsored #Beauty360atCVS
You should really inquire me about my facial mask addiction. 🙂 Or possibly you shouldn't. Considering when I tell you that I stockpile masks like cat ladies stockpile all teh cute kittehs , you lot might call back I'thousand a fiddling crazy.
I just love masks! I think they're great. Among my favorite skincare products, they're probably second only to moisturizers, because of the skin benefits, just also because they're a fun way to take a break from life.
Ya simply put on your mask and chill for 15 minutes, and while I'm sitting there "in mask," I totally forget well-nigh my chores and responsibilities. I don't call up nigh the dishes in the sink or vacuuming the stairs or doing the laundry. I'g totally preoccupied past the fact that I'g wearing a mask.
They're a skilful fashion to tune out and focus on me. Plus, they're an easy manner to treat my skin.
I have masks from here to eternity, merely I'm always looking for more (MOAR MASKS!). Upwardly until recently, I had no thought in that location were so many different masks in the Beauty 360 line at CVS/chemist's shop, and most of them are less than $8 (on sale the sail masks are usually less than $four).
They've got sheet masks (sometimes called tissue masks), sleep masks, masks in tubes, masks in jars, soothing masks, smoothing masks, deep moisture masks, detoxifying masks, brightening masks, anti-contraction firming masks and masks just for your eyes, and they're loaded with interesting ingredients similar coffee and tomato extract, charcoal and green caviar.
They're also affordable because, ya know, you're at CVS, where yous don't expect to pay an arm and a leg, which means that if you're already there getting emergency chocolate, wrapping newspaper or greeting cards, y'all can drop one into your basket without breaking the banking company.
For the past couple weeks I've been using and liking some of their masks that come in tubes. I similar that they're gentle and don't contain harsh, aggressive anti-crumbling compounds, just considering I've been trying to avoid that kind of thing correct now.
I also like that because they come in tubes, I tin can mix things upward, like, if my combo pare feels thirsty, I'll do the Hydrating Cool Calming Clay Mask all over my face except for my cheeks, where I'll use the Brightening Radiance Mask, considering I've got some uneven pigmentation and discoloration in that location.
Or, if my oily areas are even oilier than usual (the curse of combo skin), I'll do the Detoxifying Purifying Mask on my brow, nose and mentum (it's a good mild exfoliator), and then apply either the Brightening mask or Hydrating mask everywhere else.
I'll apply them and just sit down and arctic for 15 minutes while they work… Perhaps read Glamour or Allure, or watch makeup tutorials or Instagram kitten videos.
Then I'll rinse them off, and utilise moisturizer or a serum.
The overnice-sized 4-oz. tube masks are regularly $7.99 each, and I call back they're a good deal for the price (they besides go on auction a lot). My skin really likes them. I haven't cleaved out once since I started using them, fifty-fifty though I haven't been sleeping well, and when I rinse the masks off, my skin doesn't experience tight, itchy or otherwise weird.
Some other thing? Because these aren't expensive, I like not feeling guilty when I desire to utilize a piffling extra, which I usually do, in particular, with the Hydrating Cool Calming Clay Mask, which is my favorite 1 (I dear aloe), whereas with more than expensive masks I have to be very conscientious near how much I use.
This being wintertime, my skin has been drier and more than sensitive than usual, but the Cool Calming mask helps. I use it before my regular moisturizer, and my skin feels less tight.
Do you always apply face masks? More importantly, accept you ever startled somebody while wearing i? Inquiring minds desire to know. 🙂
Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,
Karen
